Robert E. Schmidt III, Managing Partner

Mr. Schmidt completed his studies in Economics at the University of Colorado in 1989, and began his real estate career in 1991 with Boulder Venture, a Milwaukee-based real estate development firm. With Boulder Venture, Robert has successfully completed over 125 projects valued at over a half-billion dollars. His development experience includes retail, office, senior housing, self-storage, condominiums, and residential subdivisions. Robert is an active member and speaker for the Urban Land Institute, as well as past Alliance Co-Chair of the International Council of Shopping Centers for the State of Wisconsin.

Sharon Bell, Design and Construction Director

Ms. Bell has been with Boulder Venture since 1993. She has cultivated exceptional skills in preliminary due diligence work, cost estimating, project management, and construction administration. From project inception through design and turnover, Sharon works closely with clients and municipalities to synchronize the various project needs, while keeping the project on s chedule and within budget constraints.

Maureen Goetz, Development Manager

Ms. Goetz graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Business with a major in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics. She joined the organization in 2000 and focuses on various aspects of development and management, including leasing, tenant relations, project due diligence, and entitlement.

Michael Wentz, Real Estate Finance and Accounting Director

Mr. Wentz received his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1991 and received his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1992. He joined Boulder Venture in 2006 and brings over eleven years experience to his role as Finance Director. He provides primary financial leadership, including analysis, planning, forecasting and loan structuring.

Jeff Reiner, Accountant

Mr. Reiner has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He prepares financial statements, valuates property, and develops income projections. Jeff also oversees income and expenditures, as well as daily cash management.
